2024 CBCG Annual Award Winners


The award for the best bachelor thesis was granted to Kristina Popović for the paper “Asymmetric Information in Banking and Insurance”. 


The award for the best master’s thesis was granted to Milica Petković for the paper “Analysis of Liquidity in Montenegro’s Banking System in Montenegro in Crisis: The Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic”. 


The commission decided not to award the best doctoral thesis this year.



2023 CBCG Annual Award Winners


The award for the best bachelor thesis was granted to Adrijana Orbović for the paper “Market Risks in the Banking Sector”. 


The award for the best master’s thesis was equally shared by Tanja Mirotić for the paper “Macroeconomic Model of the Phillips Curve – The Case Study of Montenegro” and Vjera Vučković for the paper “Analysis of the Islamic Banking Model in the MENA Region”. 


The commission decided not to award the best doctoral thesis this year.



2022 CBCG Annual Award Winners


The award for the best bachelor thesis was given to Alberta Bikaj for her paper titled Digitisation of payments 


The award for the best master’s thesis was given to Jelena Drašković for her paper Analysis of determinants and procedures for managing a non-performing loans portfolio on the example of Montenegro, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina 


The award for the best doctoral thesis was given to Martin Bojaj for his paper “Maintaining price stability in Montenegro through governance of external and internal factors of inflation”



2021 CBCG Annual Award Winners


The award for the best bachelor thesis was given to Lazar Vlahović for his paper titled Central Bank Digital Currency – Challenges and Opportunities.


The award for the best master’s thesis was shared equally between Nikola Đalović for his paper Econometric analysis of probability determinants in Europe’s largest banks and Anđela Vlahović for her paper Ranging factors determining the acceptability and the use of internet banking services – comparison of European advanced economies and countries in transition.


The award for the best doctoral thesis was given to Elvis Lekić for his paper Effects of informational revolution on banking sector’s transformation using Southeastern countries as an example.



2020 CBCG Annual Award Winners


The award for the best bachelor thesis was given to Mileva Jovović for her paper titled Application of the dollarization regime - the experience of selected countries.


The award for the best master’s thesis was given to Bojan Pejović for his paper titled Econometric modeling and interest rate forecast on Montenegro’s example.


The commission decided not to award the prize for the best doctoral thesis this year.



2019 CBCG Annual Award Winners


The award for the best bachelor thesis was granted to Ms. Ivana Tošković for her paper titled The Assessment of Monetary Policy Credibility in the Currency Board Regime and Ms. Zorana Zeković for her paper titled Banking market in Montenegro: Macroeconomic Approach.


The commission decided not to award the best master’s thesis this year.


The best doctoral thesis award was granted to Ms. Bojana Femić Radosavović for her paper The Influence of new media on customers’ loyalty at the example of Montenegro’s Banking Sector.



2018 CBCG Annual Award Winners


The award for the best bachelor thesis was granted to Mr. Miloš Martinović, for his paper Internal Audit in the Function of Improving the Risk Management Systems in Banks.


The award for the best master’s thesis was granted to Ms. Milena Pajović, for her paper Analysis of the Universal Banking Model.


The best doctoral thesis award was shared between Ms. Milica Daković Tadić, for her paper Relation between Business and National Accounting: Analysis of Differences and Recommendations for Convergence and Ms. Bojana Bošković, for her paper Impact of Regulatory Policy on the Economy with a Special Emphasis on Montenegro.



2017 CBCG Annual Award Winners


The best diploma thesis award was shared between Filip Ćirović for his paper Recovery of Banks in Accordance with European Union Directives and Milica Vukčević for her paper Ranking Banks in Montenegrin Market by Applying Analytical Hierarchy Process Model.


The best master`s thesis award was granted to Jovan Radunović for his paper Analysis of Denationalization of Money Concept by Hayek.


The best doctoral thesis award was granted to Ana Mugoša for her paper Capital Structure in the Function of Decision Making on Mergers and Acquisitions.



2016 CBCG Annual Award Winners


The best diploma thesis award was granted to Vukan Lakić for his paper Investment Bank Operation Analysis


The best master`s thesis award was granted to Nebojša Žugić for his paper Possible benefits for the Montenegrin banking by implementing CRM strategy (customer relationship management) in internet banking


The best doctoral thesis award was shared between Julija Cerović for her paper Econometric modelling of risks based on the extreme value theory with a multidimensional generalization: application to Montenegro and Tamara Backović Vulić for the paper Econometric research of capital market volatility of Montenegro



2015 CBCG Annual Award Winners


The best diploma thesis award was granted to Vjera Vučković, for her paper Mortgage Banking defended at the Faculty of Economics, University of Montenegro.


The best master`s thesis award was granted to Miloš Duletić za his paper Monetary Policy in a Dollarized Economy defended at the Faculty of International Economics, Finance and Business, University of Donja Gorica. 


The best master`s thesis award was granted to Milena Lipovina Božović for her paper Econometric Models used for Forecasting Macroeconomic Indicators - Case of Montenegro defended at the Faculty of Economics, University of Montenegro.
