The Journal of Central Banking Theory and Practice is a scientific and professional journal that the Central Bank of Montenegro publishes three times a year.

The journal has been published since 2012. The most stringent international standards are followed in the publication of papers and reviews which imply “double-blind” review.

This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.

In order to ensure high ethical standards, the Journal of Central Banking Theory and Practice adheres to the basic ethical requirements for scientific publications established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Authors and Reviewers are expected to observe the principles and guidelines of ethical conduct of the Committee on Publication Ethics.
