Today, the CBCG welcomed the participants of the WeLead: EU Scheme for Young Professionals in the Western Balkans. The project, implemented by the Center for Excellence in Finance (CEF) with EU support aims to strengthen regional cooperation of young professionals and encourage leadership in the public sector.
During the study visit, participants from the public institutions of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Slovenia, Serbia and Montenegro had the opportunity to learn the key CBCG competencies and functions, particularly about the current European integration process.
Discussions with the CBCG representatives focused on the negotiation process, with a particular focus on the negotiation chapters managed by the CBCG: Chapter 9 - Financial Services, Chapter 17 - Economic and Monetary Policy and Chapter 4 - Free Movement of Capital. After the presentations, the participants had the opportunity to engage in dialogues regarding the key challenges and opportunities in these areas through discussions with the heads of these negotiation chapters and other CBCG representatives.
