Technical Workshop at the CBCG as Part of the Tips Clone Project

A workshop within the framework of the TIPS Clone project was held at the CBCG, dedicated to planning and synchronising activities in the testing phase of the future platform that will enable instant payments in Montenegro.

More than 50 members of the project teams from the CBCG and banks operating in Montenegro took part in the workshop.

The workshop was delivered by Fabien Depasse, an expert with multiannual experience in payment systems integration from the consulting company Paylume, which has been engaged to support the CBCG and the banking sector in implementing the TIPS Clone project.

During the workshop, key topics related to the upcoming testing phase were addressed in preparation for the implementation of the TIPS Clone project, scheduled to commence on 20 July 2026.

The implementation of the TIPS Clone system will enable real-time payments and, alongside faster, safer and more efficient transactions, will create the conditions for further development of digital services while strengthening the Montenegrin financial sector’s competitiveness.
