Awaiting the New Diplomatic Mission: Governor Radović Meets the Future Ambassador of Montenegro to Denmark

Today, the CBCG Governor, Irena Radović, met with the future Ambassador of Montenegro to Denmark, Snežana Radović. The meeting served as a preparation for Ms Radović’s preparations for assuming a new diplomatic post and aimed to exchange views on the possibilities of enhancing bilateral cooperation between Montenegro and Denmark, especially in the economy.

During their discussions, they explored specific opportunities for improving economic cooperation between Montenegro and Denmark, especially in the green transition, digital transformation and sustainable tourism - segments in which Denmark has notable experience and expertise.

Governor Radović emphasised the importance of sharing experiences in developing sustainable policies and fostering cooperation between the two central banks, especially in support of an inclusive and resilient financial system.

Ambassador Radović expressed her full commitment to strengthening economic relations between Montenegro and Denmark, highlighting the promotion of Montenegro as an appealing destination for Danish investors.

They especially highlighted the importance of Denmark’s upcoming presidency of the Council of the European Union, scheduled for the second half of 2025, as an opportunity for Montenegro to enhance its position within the European context further.
