Regional Summit of Finance Ministers, Governors and Tax Administration Directors organised by the Belgrade’s weekly NIN, under the auspices of the Central Bank, Ministry of Finance and Tax Administration of Montenegro will be held on 14 and 15 June 2019 in Hotel Splendid in Bečići.

This year’s summit topic will be “Financial and monetary stability of the region in conditions of slower economic growth in the euro area”. 

The Summit will start on 14 July, at 9:30 with the with the welcome speech of Mr Radoje Žugić, the Governor of the Central Bank of Montenegro and Mr Aleksandar Vlahović, the President of the Serbian Association of Economists, followed by the governors’ panel titled "Monetary policy and stability of the banking systems in the conditions of low inflation and interest rates".

The panel themed "Building trust through innovation and safety. What's new in digital payments?" will start on the same day at 12:30.

The finance ministers’ panel titled "Stability of public finances and economic growth" will be held the next day, Saturday 15 June, starting at 9:30 where, among others, the Minister of Finance in the Government of Montenegro Darko Radunović will speak.

Montenegro’s Tax Administration Director, Mr Miomir M. Mugoša with his regional colleagues will hold the tax administration directors’ panel titled “Tax administration reform and combating shadow economy” in the second part of the day, starting at 12:30. 

The summit is the largest annual regional financial and monetary gathering aimed at developing dialogue and improving cooperation between regional financial institutions.
