In accordance with the Law on Official Statistics and the System of Official Statistics (“Official Gazette of Montenegro”, No. 18/12, 47/19), the Central Bank of Montenegro is the producer of official monetary and financial statistics. Data is collected and processed pursuant to the Central Bank of Montenegro Law (OGM 40/10, 6/13, 70/17, 125/23), the Law on Credit Institutions (OGM 72/19, 82/20, 8/21), and the Decision on Bank Reporting to the Central Bank of Montenegro (128/20). The data is sent to the Central Bank on a monthly basis, in the Euro currency.
