In accordance with the Law on Official Statistics and the System of Official Statistics (“Official Gazette of Montenegro”, No. 18/12, 47/19), the Central Bank of Montenegro is the producer of official monetary and financial statistics. Data is collected and processed pursuant to the Central Bank of Montenegro Law (OGM 40/10, 46/10, 6/13, 70/17), the Banking Law (OGM 17/08, 44/10, 40/11, 73/17), and the Decision on Bank Reporting to the Central Bank of Montenegro (OGM 64/12, 83/17, 24/18, 39/18, 37/19). The data is sent to the Central Bank on a monthly basis, in the Euro currency.
