The Council of the Central Bank of Montenegro adopted the Operating Rules Amending the Operating Rules of the Central Bank of Montenegro Payment System.

With these amendments, the working hours of the national payment system will be extended to include weekends and holidays starting from 20 October.

Thus, money transfers on Saturdays and Sundays and non-working days in accordance with the law governing national and other holidays will be possible until 2:30 p.m. for amounts up to 1,000 euros, or until 3:00 p.m. for amounts exceeding 1,000 euros.

We also remind you that, from 18 August, the working hours of the domestic payment system were extended on weekdays until 8:00 p.m. for transactions exceeding 1,000 euros, and until 7:30 p.m. for transactions below 1,000 euros, with six clearing cycles during the day.
