Governor of the CBCG meets a candidate for Montenegro’s Ambassador to Serbia
The Governor of the Central Bank of Montenegro, Mr. Radoje Žugić, met today with candidate for Montenegro’s Ambassador in Serbia, Mr. Tarzan Milošević.
The topic of the meeting, organised as a part of Mr. Milošević’s preparations for the position of Montenegro’s Ambassador to Serbia, was the cooperation of our two countries and the possibilities for its deepening.
The interlocutors agreed that Serbia was the most important foreign trade partner to Montenegro by visible trade volume, and that the economic cooperation of our countries had great potential for development that should be used. In this regard, special focus should be paid to promoting visible trade, and to cooperation in tourism, trade, and agriculture.
They also pointed to the importance of further improving of border crossings and transport infrastructure, which would enable more rapid flow of people and goods between the countries and lead to more significant improvement in visible trade.
The Governor informed Mr. Milošević on current cooperation between the CBCG and the National Bank of Serbia, emphasizing its success and high quality.
