ANNOUNCEMENT: Global Money Week, 25-31 March

In the period between 25th and 31st March 2019, the Central Bank of Montenegro will celebrate the Global Money Week by organising numerous activities involving a large number of children and young people.

In this period, the CBCG representatives will visit kindergartens and schools across Montenegro, and pupils will have the opportunity to visit the CBCG and the Money Museum. These visits will include interesting lectures and creative workshops tailored to the children’s age, with the topics relating to this year’s slogan of the Global Money Week: Learn. Save. Earn.

On the first day of the event, 25th March, a full-day event will be organised in the CBCG premises (ul. Novaka Miloševa), which will include a series of lectures focussing on money, saving, the role and significance of financial literacy, etc.

The first lecture that the Vice-governor Nikola Fabris will give to the pupils of Primary School “Savo Pejanović” is scheduled at 11:00 AM. This event is open to media, and accreditations are available via e-mail, no later than 10:00 AM, Monday, 25th March.

Global Money Week, a Child & Youth Finance International (CYFI) initiative, is a global event aimed at raising the awareness of children and youth about the importance of gaining knowledge on money management.
