Exhibition “25 Years of the CBCG” Opens at the CBCG Money Museum
18/05/2026
The exhibition of student artworks titled “25 Years of the CBCG” was officially opened today at the CBCG Money Museum in Cetinje, marking International Museum Day.
The exhibition features artworks by students of the “Petar Lubarda” Secondary School of Fine Arts from Cetinje, inspired by two significant anniversaries – 25 years of the CBCG’s operations and 20 years since the restoration of Montenegrin independence.
Through the artworks of these young artists, the anniversaries are presented from a unique and creative student perspective, further highlighting the importance of cooperation between cultural institutions, the education sector, and the financial system. The exhibition also reflects the role of the CBCG Money Museum as a space that, in addition to preserving monetary history and cultural heritage, opens its doors to young people and encourages their creativity.
The first prize was awarded to Jelena Kaluđerović, a second-year pupil; the second prize to Darja Peraš, a third-year pupil; while third place went to Janja Mijušković, a second-year pupil.
This is yet another exhibition jointly organised by the CBCG Money Museum and the “Petar Lubarda” Secondary School of Fine Arts on the occasion of International Museum Day, continuing a collaboration that has lasted for more than a decade.
From 1 April to 1 November, the Money Museum is open to visitors every day, including public holidays, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
