In cooperation with the High School of Fine Arts “Petar Lubarda” from Cetinje, the Money Museum of the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG) conducted a traditional award competition for the best artwork on the occasion of the International Museum Day 18 May. This year’s theme was “Jubilee money - 20 years of the CBCG”.

Paulina Kandibovič won the first prize of 300 euros, Marko Kilibarda won the second prize of 200 euros. Polina Lazarenko won the third prize of 100 euros.

The award competition for the best artwork in cooperation with SLŠ “Petar Lubarda” on the International Museum Day has been conducted since 2013.

The International Council of Museums (ICOM) established International Museum Day in 1977. It aims at raising awareness that museums are a necessary means of cultural exchange, enriching cultures, and developing mutual understanding, cooperation, and peace.
