Novčanice
Postoji sedam različitih apoena euro novčanica: 5 €, 10 €, 20 €, 50 €, 100 €, 200 € i 500 €.
Na novčanicama eura prikazani su imaginarni arhitektonski motivi iz teme “Periodi i stilovi Evrope” čiji je dizajner Austrijanac Robert Kalina.
Nove novčanice nastale su osavremenjivanjem prve serije. Zadržale su su originalni tematski dizajn i dominantne boje prve serije novčanica, ali postoje i manje razlike zbog poboljšanih zaštitnih obilježja.
Za osvježenje dizajna novčanica odabran je nezavisni dizajner novčanica iz Berlina Reinhold Gerstetter.
